If there is one word to describe Ryan and Jimmy’s wedding at the Congressional Country Club, it is timeless. Set against the rolling greens and historic architecture of Bethesda, Maryland, their elegant celebration was a masterclass in elegance.

Congressional Country Club is one of those iconic venues that does the heavy lifting for you. With its stunning Spanish Revival clubhouse, white stucco arches, and manicured grounds, it provides a backdrop that feels both grand and intimate. Ryan and Jimmy leaned into this classic aesthetic perfectly. Ryan stunned in a sleek, strapless gown that felt modern yet traditional, while Jimmy and his groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxedos—a look that never goes out of style.

We started the day capturing the quiet anticipation, including a touching moment where the couple exchanged personal letters. These private pauses are often my favorite things to photograph before the whirlwind of the main event begins.

Despite the grandeur of the venue, the couple made sure the day felt personal. We took a golf cart out onto the course for golden hour portraits, capturing the two of them against the vast landscape of the fairway. The light hitting the white clubhouse architecture created a clean, high-end look that framed their portraits beautifully.

The celebration moved indoors for a sophisticated reception. The ballroom at Congressional, with its grand fireplace and oil paintings, offered a warm, stately atmosphere for dinner and dancing. From the emotional toasts to the final songs of the night, the energy was unmatched.
